R-42 corrugated rebar is a reinforcing material used in the construction industry for castles, slabs, walls, girders, posts, among others, a variety of diameters can be found, its presentation comes at 12.20 m long and can come straight or folded, its name is due to the fact that its minimum resistance is 4200 kg/cm².
The main function of R-42 corrugated rebar is to provide support and reinforcement to concrete structures. At Serviacero Comercial we have a wide stock in different diameters, we have two types of straight and bent presentations.
Uses and applications of R-42 Corrugated Rod:
• Foundations: provides resistance, strength and stability to projects carried out with concrete.
• Walls: ensures structural integrity in the construction of walls or walls.
• Slabs: prevents the appearance of cracks in the slabs.
• Prefabricated elements: used to manufacture elements such as honeycombs.
1. Resistance: its minimum resistance of 4200 kg/cm², making it an ideal material to support large weight loads.
2. Malleability: it is a material that is easy to bend and manipulate in applications where adaptation to different shapes is required.
3. Compatible: complements your specific applications by providing support, strength and resistance to your projects.
4. Resistance in earthquakes: it is a material that provides security since, thanks to its resistance, it is an ideal material for seismic conditions.
5. Quality: it is manufactured under the Mexican standard NMX-B-506 which regulates the specifications and methods for corrugated steel bars for concrete reinforcement, ensuring its integrity.
6. Versatility: as we mentioned, it is ideal for use in a large number of applications.
These advantages make R-42 steel rod a very popular material used in the construction industry.
