Metales y Acero is a supplier of special steels for machinery and tools used in the footwear and food sectors in León, Guanajuato.
1975
Metales y Acero (formerly Aceros y Metales Finos) begins operations in the city of San Luis Potosí.
1980
Serviacero de León is born, providing cut and formed to size sheet metal.
1983
Metales y Aceros begins operations in the city of Guadalajara and the city of Querétaro.
1994
Comercial and Aceros de León opens its first service center outside of León, Gto. in the city of Querétaro.
2000
In order to support the industry and comprehensively meet the steel needs of its customers, these three companies have joined together under the name Serviacero.
2005
Serviacero Planos, opens its second Service Center in the city of Queretaro.

Serviacero Planos enters into a Joint Venture with Worthington Industries to create Serviacero Worthington, projecting itself as one of the main steel suppliers nationwide.
